Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Please check out her website for more TTT topics!

This week’s topic is:

Great list! This reminds me that I actually also read a Freida McFadden book last year but it clearly didn’t make any impression on me cos I completely forgot about it 😂 I do want to read The Housemaid though because it’s her most popular work. Hope you discover many more amazing new-to you authors in 2026, Yolanda!
Thanks Dini!
Freida McFadden was new to me last year too! I totally forgot about her. haha. To many more amazing authors in 2026!!
I read Elizabeth May years ago when she was writing YA. I would love to check out her newer books.
I did too! The Falconer! When I was reading The Wolf, I didn’t even connect the two until I finished the book, and wanted to know what else the author wrote – what a surprise to find out she’s an author I read long ago.
Yes, that’s the one I was thinking of!
I only recently got Alchemized so I still need to read it. But I’m curious. It has gained so much buzz.
I hope you like it! It’s a chunky book but I will say it’s a story that stuck with me.
