Top Ten Quick Reads/Books to Read When Time is Short   | TTT | 2/6/24

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Please check out her website for more TTT topics!

This week’s topic is:

Top Ten Quick Reads/Books to Read When Time is Short

(Books under 150 pages, or if you’re not a novella reader maybe spin this to be books you could read in a day or a single sitting.

These books are under 300 pages, because I don’t think I’ve ever read a book that is under 150? I might be wrong…but I can’t recall at the top of my head a book that is under 150.

  • Six Scorched Roses by. Carissa Broadbent – a novella that is 187 pages
  • Stranger Danger by. Maren Stoffels – 224 pages
  • How the King of Elfhame Learned to Hate Stories by. Holly Black – 200 pages

  • Woke Up Like This by. Amy Lea – coming in at 300 pages
  • A Festive Feud by. Maren Moore – so many holiday books are quick reads and this one is 222 pages
  • Flip the Script by. Lyla Lee – 296 pages

That’s all I got – I don’t even have 10! I guess I need to read more novellas.

What’s on your TTT?

  1. If you’re looking for quick, silly fantasy reads under 300 pages (not a big novella reader either), I’d recommend K. M. Shea’s books. They’re YA fantasy, very funny, and don’t require much brain cells 😉 They’re also on KU.
