Books I Did Not Finish…YET

I can’t say these are DNF’s because I am a mood reader and I borrow way too many books on my Kindle Unlimited sometimes, or my Libby, and I can’t get to some books because of ARCS – arcs are always priority. It doesn’t mean I won’t finish it (KU has such a long borrowing time lol it works for me). As for Libby books they may expire but I’m always re-borrowing it! So these are not DNF’s yet….I have hope. 😂

**I was 30% done with this book before my loan period ended on Libby but I’ll definitely borrow it again just so I can finish it. My headspace wasn’t in the mood for all the world-building.**

The only one that is part of my “collection” (ebook) is Onyx Storm! Everything else are borrowed books or arcs.

• Onyx Storm by. Rebecca Yarros – I had to buy this one for sure.
• Throne of Secrets by. Kerri Maniscalco – I borrowed this one as well!

• Beneath These Cursed Stars by. Lexi Ryan – Had to borrow this one because I got approved for the next book in the series but never read this one.
• A Court Bright and Broken by. Amy Patrick – an arc I requested on NetGalley.
• The Rose Bargain by. Sasha Peyton Smith – I’m about 15% into this one. This one is an arc.

• A Tropical Rebel Gets the Duke by. Adrianna Herrera – I got asked to read the arc, and join the blog tour so why not? This is a series, so I hope it’s only of those I can read as a standalone.
• The Serpent and the Wolf by. Rebecca Robinson – I borrowed this one!

Bookish Goals for 2025

I can’t say I have a lot of new goals for 2025. I’d say it’s almost the same as it was for 2024…this was what I had for 2024:

#1 – read books I actually want to read, and try not to force it if I’m not feeling a book

#2 – take breaks from blogging when needed

#3 -request less arcs 🙃 (actually did request less in 2023 so I know I can do this)

I actually accomplished one of these! LOL…#3! I actually read I think, 50 less books this year than usual.

For 2025:

#1 – read outside of my comfort zone. I read more thrillers and mysteries in 2024. I kind of want to cut down on fantasy and see where my interests take me.

#2 – still request less arcs. Because I requested less, I actually got emailed with a bunch of arcs I wasn’t expecting. But requesting less arcs made me feel less pressure to finish all of them on time so that was really nice.

#3 – borrow more books, and spend less on buying pretty hardcovers.
