Books I Meant to Read in 2023 but Didn’t Get To  | TTT | 1/23/24

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Please check out her website for more TTT topics!

This week’s topic is:

Books I Meant to Read in 2023 but Didn’t Get To

So many books fall into this category for me! I tried my best but just couldn’t get to so many books that I wanted to read. Here are some titles I meant to get to in 2023 but didn’t get a chance to:

  • Nettle & Bone by. T. Kingfisher – this title is available on Kindle Unlimited so I think I still have a chance to get to it but not in 2023, it’s going to have to be in 2024.
  • The Fake Mate by. Lana Ferguson – this was offered to me as a blog tour book but I knew I wouldn’t have a chance to get to it so I didn’t do the blog tour. Kind of wish I did but hopefully I can get a copy of it in 2024.
  • The Atlas Paradox by. Olivie Blake – this is on my online library and I had a copy but let it expire. At least I know I can borrow it again, it’ll have to happen in 2024.

  • From the Grave by. Kresley Cole – I bought this as an ebook but never got to read it yet! It’s the final book in a series and maybe I have no motivation because it’s been so long since the last book was released. I’ll attempt it in 2024.

What’s on your TTT?

  1. I read The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes in 2023 and it was quite good. It took me a lot longer to read than I’d been anticipated and because of that I’ve still not seen the move 😥 haha but it was really interesting to have that insight in President Snow’s origin story, and especially being in his mind and reading his manipulative, paranoid thoughts was a cool reading experience. I hope you love it when you read it!!

  2. Hopefully you can get to these soon! I finished up The Fake Mate this month. It was alright but not what I was expecting.
