Aloha friends!
It was a very low-key week and a nice time to catch up on reading, cleaning the house and my kids got some outdoor time using their scooters outside for our mid-morning walks with our dog (who’s so happy the kids are home with him). I can’t believe June is over!

I’m jealous you got The Hunting Moon! I haven’t approved yet lol.
I just finished it and I didn’t love it as much as book one, but maybe I went in with really high expectations! There were some interesting developments though, but mostly in the second half. The first half was feeling more like it was a filler book with nothing much happening.
Oh no! That is a bummer. I dislike when the second book is not as great. Hopefully the series will come back in the third book lol.
I think it’s because it slows down into more of a mystery now that Winnie is done proving herself to become a luminary.
