I read about 17 books in August, which isn’t bad. I got to read some of my highly anticipated books of 2022, so that was exciting! How did you do in August? Have a great September!

I remember as a kid, summer break used to be 3 months long and now for my kids it’s only 2 months long – boo! 😅 Back to school starts for us here in a few days so we’ve been busy with that. July was nice though, I’d say it hasn’t been as hot as usual in Hawaii, we actually had cloudy days and some rain and breeze! Thank god for the winds! I hope the rest of you keep enjoying your summer.

I read about 17 books in July, and about 2 were read before the month of July since they were arcs. I enjoyed the variety of books I read this month.

June was a long month! I was recovering from covid, my husband was recovering from covid, my best friend’s whole family had covid except for her. I was dealing with wasps, cancelled trips, and all kinds of stuff. I survived it and at least I had books to keep my mind off the crazy things going on.

Wow, I didn’t read a lot in May! But it was a busy month trying to get ready for my trips. I’m bummed we had to cancel the family trip because of Covid. But while I’m recovering I guess I’ll do some reading, if I can stay awake. I hope you had a better reading month than I did! Take care and stay safe out there.

How was your April? Mine was busier than normal but it’s nice to be out and about again meeting up with friends and family. I had an Easter party at my house and it was tiring but so much fun for the kids! Now it’s May which means, last month of school for my son and onto 4th grade in August. 🥺 I have a trip to Vegas on the 27th-29th to see Silk Sonic in concert with one of my best friends! So excited to get my dance on! Then on June 1st I’ll be gone for 16 days for a trip to Pennsylvania and New York to visit in-laws. It will be my daughter’s first time flying and our first family trip together (pray for me lol).

I’m not really sure how I did with my reading in April because life’s been so busy. But let’s see how I did – I might just surprise myself!

Yup this looks about right – it’s 13 because one of the 4 star reads was an arc I read a month ago. I did okay this month but I felt like I struggled through a bunch of books. I have so many I’ve started and haven’t finished yet so…hopefully I get my reading mojo back in March!
