Weekly Wrap Up | 11/10/24

Aloha friends!

My week started good because it was my birthday on Monday. I had a massage at the spa on Sunday and lunch afterwards with family. Then Tuesday hit (USA Election Day) and I experienced the 5 stages of grief in the span of a few days. It has sucked but I’m glad I’m not alone in my despair. I’m now in the mode of – to quote Taylor Swift “I think I’ve seen this film before…and I didn’t like the ending…”.

  1. Sending hugs! Taylor’s “I Hate It Here…” would be rather appropriate wouldn’t it? Also, Happy belated Birthday, Yolanda! I’m sorry that you had to experience the election trauma so soon after your day but the spa and lunch you had sounded fun! I hope the week ahead is better for you 💜

    1. Yes that song definitely fits lol. Thanks, Dini, we just have to deal 🫠. At least my kids keep me busy enough that I am forced not to dwell with this doom and gloom I get sucked into sometimes when I see the news. We will keep on fighting and hope for the best! I hope you have a good week!
