Finally I am feeling much better! Still some congestion but most of the yuckiness and the coughing is gone thank goodness. But now my daughter has pink eye so yay…fun! Now I’m trying to avoid that lol. I haven’t posted much, I haven’t read much and if I did it was one or two pages and then I’d put the book down. Not sure why I’m in such a slump but have you read any amazing books lately? If you have drop some recs in the comments, please!

Sorry to hear your daughter now has pink eye after you’ve just started to feel better. Hope you don’t catch it! I’ve been feeling in a semi-slumpish mood too and it’s been hard to pick up any other read outside of my current buddy read. I did just finish Trail of Lightning by Rebecca Roanhorse. It’s a bit of a darker post-apocalyptic mythology infused fantasy read but it’s so action-packed and fast-paced I flew through it! If that sounds interesting to you I’d definitely recommend it 🙂 Hope you’re enjoying Not Another Love Song though—I’m really keen to check that one out!

Thanks Dini! The germs just go around constantly lol. We were picking up her eye drops at the pharmacy yesterday and ran into a classmate of hers who was there to pick up antibiotics for whatever illness he has! 😆 So there’s tons of germs in her classroom going around. That reminds me I have a book from Rebecca Roanhorse from her Between Earth and Sky series that I still need to read! Thanks for the recs!
