WWW Wednesday | 1/24/24

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over on Taking on a World of Words.

The idea is pretty simple, every week you dedicate a post to the three W’s:

What are you currently reading?

What have you just finished reading?

What are you going to read next?

What are you currently reading?

Chasm by. Stacey McEwan – 25% progress – boo, my online borrowing time expired so I have to wait for a copy again.

The Book of Azrael by. Amber Nicole – I’m 11% in. I don’t know if I want to continue and devote my time to this one. It’s not holding my interest.

The Bad Ones by. Melissa Albert – I just started this arc so I’m only 5% in. It’s another dark read.

Heartless Hunter by. Kristen Ciccarelli – 1% in

Destroy the Day by. Brigid Kemmerer – 63% in and there is a lot going and I’m not sure if I love it. I think I was expecting more drama with Rian but it’s split between three POVs and each are having their own problems. Also wanted more Corrick and Tessa time but at least Harristan gets some love- he deserves it.

I feel like I need to change and read something light and fluffy because I’ve been reading so many dark books and fantasy which requires so much world-building and I just need something easy.

What have you just finished reading?

The Catch by. Amy Lea – ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

The Endless War by. Danielle L. Jensen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A Tempest of Tea by. Hafsah Faizal ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Court of Winter by. Krista Street ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – I’m trying to finish some romantasy books I downloaded on KU and at least I finished this one! Working on the other books in the series but I’m just skimming through them.

What are you going to read next?

Compass and Blade by. Rachel Greenlaw

Snowglobe by. Soyoung Park

The Poisons We Drink by. Bethany Baptiste

I’m trying to get through my February arcs!

What are you reading right now?

  1. I am rereading the Defy the Night series before I dive into the third book. Hoping to get to the third book in the next couple of days!

  2. Yeah, it might be a good time to try something a little different to reset. I’m glad to see Endless War got a good rating! I still need to read that one.
