My son had a sore throat Sunday evening and Monday I took him to urgent care because he was coughing and our trip is next week. Good thing I took him because he has strep throat. He has antibiotics and is on the mend, but he also has a cold with with his strep – so it’s been rough for him and it’s the last week of school! He gets to go back tomorrow if he feels better or on Friday which is the last day. Poor kiddo. I’m trying to keep his sister away from him and I’m masking in the house because I cannot afford to get sick. Our trip to Okinawa is in exactly one week and I’m anxious (mostly about making sure I have everything I need for the trip) and excited because we get to go somewhere completely out of our comfort zone. But first we need to get and stay healthy!
