I hate tax season – we owe a lot this year. BOO… So back to my book buying ban! I don’t actually need to be buying any books because I have so many arcs to get through and library books. 😅 I’ve been reading too much fantasy I think and need to read something light-hearted soon.

Well it’s been that kind of week again – trying to escape from the realities of the world! How’s about those tariffs huh? 😖 But also the stress around me makes it hard to read sometimes. I’m trying to concentrate on arcs because I have SO many arcs due in July and I have my South Korea trip in June, then I have Vegas in July so I’m actually trying to get that July arc list down a little. But not gonna lie, the purple book covers this years have been banger books! Oathbound, Holy Terrors and now Sunrise of the Reaping. 💪🏾

Today is the day my kids have been WAITING for – the Nintendo Switch 2 was showcased in a Nintendo Direct so it was an early morning for my son, it aired at 3am in Hawaii. I wasn’t waking up that early to watch it lol but I did watch it once I woke up. Anyway let’s talk BOOKS:

Reading Journal – February 2025 Wrap-Up

Since I’m playing catch up on this reading journal of mine, here is my February wrap-up before March ends.

Continuing on this youtube journey of mine…I went back to the editing app I used when I used to help my son make his gaming videos. And wow, it was so much easier for me, I don’t know why I deviated! I also wanted to make the video shorter and I think I achieved that so yay for me.

Now I’ve been already filling up my March entries into the journal. There is one spot in the journal where it lists the books you read in a month that I already know I’ll not have enough space for 🤔. It’s definitely a ME problem haha because the space contains lines for 15 books. And I do usually read 15 or less books a month which is why I thought this journal was perfect for me, but March was crazy and I actually listened to 2 audiobook! Who am I? I don’t even recognize myself sometimes when I get through an audiobook! 😅

I actually have borrowed some books in March but I’m trying to push it so I can read it the last week of March and finish in the first week of April before they expire. We’ll see if my plan works. 😬

We are in the last week of February friends – it’s unbelievable! That means I have 3 months until my trip to South Korea with my older sister. It also means Spring Break is just around the cover but we aren’t planning anything special because my daughter wanted to do 3 days of math camp at school (I love that she wanted to sign up!) and then my hubby has to go to Washington D.C. for a work conference during that week also. As for my reading, I think I’m on a roll (don’t want to jinx it lol). I hope all of you have a good week!
