It’s the last Wednesday in September and I’m having a tough time wrapping my head around it. I don’t think I AM ready for the holidays like I thought I was lol. I know it’s officially Fall, but the weather in Hawaii says nope, it’s not. I saw a house with Halloween decorations out already and I’m like…wait….it’s not even October. 😆 But I guess it’s close enough since October is next week. I had such a busy weekend that I didn’t really have time to read, but I’m hoping for some quiet time during the week so I can catch up on reading.

Stranger Skies by. Pascale LaCelle – 1% – still no progress because I’m reading other things but I will be getting to this one very soon!

The Games Gods Play by. Abigail Owen – 9% – no progress

Worst in Show by. Anna E. Collins – 2% – because I always need something light to read lately along with my darker reads lol

Eleven Houses by. Colleen Oakes – 48% – picked this one up Sunday night and this was a quick read.

Love & Lattes by. Beth Reekles – 35% – this one is a very quick read.

Fangs for Nothing by. Steffanie Holmes – 37% – this one is cute but kind of long, I can’t believe I’m only at 37%!

We are in MID-SEPTEMBER. Ugh…I am tired, but we are near Fall break so that’s something to look forward to and it’s not like we are going on vacation but sleeping in is like a vacation. 🤔 lol…so as if I’m not tired enough I was looking for something creative to do – I haven’t done resin art in awhile and my Etsy shop is pretty slow and something I might close since I haven’t posted new things there and I randomly came across reading journal videos on youtube. And so yeah…I found an extra composition notebook in my kids school supplies box and started one even though it’s almost the end of 2024 🤷🏻‍♀️. I’ll do a separate post about it and add pics.

I feel like now that we are in September I have more motivation to finish all these fantasy reads I have in my NetGalley library! I’m such a mood reader. I also can’t believe we are in September and I have to be thinking about Halloween soon or do Christmas shopping or something! lol…I want to be prepared because I hardly am when the holidays hit. I cannot believe this is the last week of August by the way and my son just turned 12 yesterday. 🥺 I’m kind of excited that September means we are in the “ber” months and holidays are coming – because that’s always fun but also that means I’ll be more broke LOL. 😆 Anyway I’m working away on arcs that I need to get done by October 😬. Well my laptop is almost done for lol…but not quite dead – I was just being in denial for a little because I do not want to buy a new one yet. It just doesn’t like anything plugged into the usb ports but that’s fine, I’m gonna hang onto it until it really can’t power up anymore. 😅 So I’ll just keep chugging on with it! I noticed I have a lot of arcs that are publishing on October 1st! Must be a big publishing day but I’m trying my best to get to them!

I thought my laptop was done for but it isn’t! Yay! Because I wasn’t about to drop money for a new one, in this economy lol. So I was struggling using my son’s PC which has the biggest screen and was giving me a headache and my ipad, which is small and was also a struggle to type a lot of things. So I, for some random reason, removed a usb/ubc cord that was plugged into my laptop and I started it up and that fixed it! I’m so happy and now I can go back to blogging. As for reading, it’s slow going still…sigh.

This is the LAST day of July folks…I am so not looking forward to being back to school/activities schedule next week lol…I have loved just lounging around with my kids and just enjoying time together.
