So I totally didn’t read the two fantasy books Beasts of Prey and A Song Wraiths and Ruin because contemporary books were calling my name this month! So instead I added Rise to the Sun, Monday’s Not Coming and Black Enough for my Black History Month reads. I’m still struggling through Four Aunties and a Wedding – I should’ve DNF’ed…maybe I will, not sure yet. Also working through HofSandB – I’m finally at 60% after three days of reading it. It’s the slowest I’ve read a SJM book I think.

Sadly, I haven’t had much time to read this past weekend and the two I’m still currently reading hasn’t really been engaging me at all. 😣 I hate when that happens. I have arcs to finish up for March though, so I really better get on it this weekend.

I didn’t finish Gilded and I have to borrow it again. 😆 A lot of the books I’m borrowing is being returned not even read…sigh…problems of a mood reader!

No…I have so many books open and I have to finish. So until I finish those, not “read next” books. 😅 My mood has been contemporary romances! And fantasy has been going so slow for me…I have no reason why. But my goal is to finish Jade City, A Deadly Education and Gilded this week!!

I have a bunch of ebooks I borrowed online I have to read before they expire. Also my NetGalley list that I have to clear for February release dates so I’m getting through them…slowly, but surely (I HOPE) lol…

I haven’t read a book since 2022 began! And I haven’t had any energy to do so this week so hopefully I can get back into a rhythm this weekend or next week when my schedule gets a little less busy.
