Hi all! My week started with an MRI biopsy which was as uncomfortable as it sounds. But it had to be done, so I’m dealing with some tenderness on my right side and have to refrain from any strenuous activity or heavy lifting. I’m hoping for good results. In the meantime, I’m trying to finish some arcs and library books.

June is over in 2 days! Where has the year gone? Seriously! 😳 I’ve been on a good reading spree ever since I got back from my trip. Ten days of taking a break from reading really helped me get my motivation to read back and I think I need to take like maybe one week breaks from reading every so often.

I’m leaving a plane today for Okinawa, Japan. We fly to Haneda Airport in Japan then have to catch a connecting flight to Okinawa so wish me luck! I hate the airport and airplane part of the trip – it’s exhausting. I’m hoping everything goes smoothly.

My son had a sore throat Sunday evening and Monday I took him to urgent care because he was coughing and our trip is next week. Good thing I took him because he has strep throat. He has antibiotics and is on the mend, but he also has a cold with with his strep – so it’s been rough for him and it’s the last week of school! He gets to go back tomorrow if he feels better or on Friday which is the last day. Poor kiddo. I’m trying to keep his sister away from him and I’m masking in the house because I cannot afford to get sick. Our trip to Okinawa is in exactly one week and I’m anxious (mostly about making sure I have everything I need for the trip) and excited because we get to go somewhere completely out of our comfort zone. But first we need to get and stay healthy!
