I did some dark reading the past few weeks! Wow..lol and one fluffy romance? But I guess I was in the mood which is interesting since we are a month from Valentine’s Day and usually I read romances in January.

What are you going to read next?

I have three arcs to finish up before or in February and that’s The Bad Ones, A Tempest of Tea and Heartless Hunter. I’m so excited for Destroy the Day which comes out on Tuesday!

Today is my daughter’s 7th birthday! We’re going to the arcade and have dinner. And then we’ll celebrate with family on Saturday, which is when her dad goes back to Okinawa. I haven’t had anytime to really read since I had caught a cold and wasn’t feeling 100%. I’m hoping to finish

I am so glad Christmas is over. I feel like it’s been non-stop since the kids went on winter break – I looked at the calendar and realized they only went on break this past Friday lol. Why does it feel like it’s been a week or two already? 😅 And now everyone is gearing up for New Year’s Eve, but usually we stay in for that night because this whole island lights fireworks, it’s loud, my dog gets scared and my kids always sleep through midnight – no matter how many times I try to wake them up. I’m tired but there is no rest is there? 😩 Just hoping I can get some of these arcs read before they are published in January!

5 days until Christmas y’all! My hubby is home but even with him home, I feel more exhausted? I got to go over to my mom’s house this weekend and helped do some cleaning. She’s always cleaning but since her surgery she can’t do heavy lifting – even though I know she wants to! So I did the cleaning for her. Her healing is going well, she still feels a bit weak but she looks better each time I see her.

ASAP by. Axie Oh – if you read XOXO, then this one is about Nathaniel and Sori! I’m 16% into this one.

A Study Drowning by. Ava Reid – 2% in this one and I don’t know why I have no interest in it right now. So this might be one I come back to at a later time.

Dark Star Burning, Ash Falls White by. Amelie Wen Zhao – I’m 28% into this book and hoping I can finish before it publishes in 2 weeks!

The Getaway List by. Emma Lord – I’m 13% into this one and enjoying it. I love the bright cover too! Yellow covers make me happy!

My kids have been sick, my mom just got out of the hospital (but doing so so well 🙏🏼), the school spirit week is next week and holiday parties! I’ve been so busy since coming home from vacation but I did manage to finish one book! Yay me 😅. There is just too much going on, but I’m ready for my kids winter break but that’s not for another 2 1/2 weeks. It can’t come soon enough. Let me know what you are reading right now!

I just got back from vacation yesterday and what a trip it was! We had an amazing time and I had no chance to really read. I read on the 9 hour flight going to Osaka, but coming home it was a 5 hour trip and I actually was so exhausted I knocked out. So I’m back and I have so much Christmas stuff to do, Hanukkah too – just so much shopping to do. Tis the season! 😅 We’ll see what books I can finish this week…

I finally feel about 90% recovered – thank goodness because it was an awful past two weeks. Thank you to Flonase, my nose has stopped dripping – but now I have the sinus headache – it’s getting better though. My cough is 95% gone and I can finally get a good night’s sleep.

We are headed to Osaka, Japan next Tuesday, and I’m just trying to make sure I have everything I need for the kids and my parents who are joining me. It should be a fun trip – the highlight will probably be Universal Studios because my kids are so excited to go to Super Nintendo World!

I finally got a copy of Iron Flame after cancelling my pre-orders (that was shipping out as fast as I would like). I got an ebook which works for me. I’m still not in the reading mood yet because I’m trying to get a lot of things done before my trip! So we shall see what I can finish up reading this week.

Ugh so pretty sure I got the flu last week, was recovering this weekend and still not quite 100% so my desire to read is just nonexistent. I did finish some arcs but I’m really excited to get my copy of Iron Flame which is my most anticipated read this year.
