Christmas Songs Book Tag | 2025

I was on That Artsy Reader Girl’s blog to start doing my January 2026 Top Ten Tuesday posts when I saw this cute tag she posted and created! So I’m going to try it out!

1. “All I Want for Christmas Is You”: Favorite bookish couple.
Oskar and Guinevere from Tusk Love by. Thea Guanzon .

2. “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”: Name a book where a character is away from home (school, vacation, etc.).
Your Knife, My Heart by. K.M. Moronova – everyone is in a military camp undergoing some deadly trials.

3. “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”: Name your favorite “little” book (children’s book, short story, novella, etc.).
I read The Very Hungry Caterpillar by. Eric Carle to my kids a million times, to the point I had it memorized. But I love it still.

4. “Santa Claus is Coming to Town“: What book(s) do you hope Santa brings you this year?
The Wolf and the Crown of Blood by. Elizabeth May.

5. “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”: Which book turned your nose red (made you cry)?
Atmosphere by. Taylor Jenkins Reid the audiobook was so good!

6. “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”: Your favorite book/kind of book to read during the holidays.
I am such a mood reader that even during the holidays I get picky and don’t necessarily pick up holidays books. Anything with a cute romance, I’ll be happy with. I’m listening to the arc The Swan’s Daughter by. Roshni Choksi on audiobook which comes out on 1/6/26 but the fairytale writing and magical setting puts me in the mood for the holidays.

7. “We Three Kings”: Your favorite trilogy/book from a trilogy (or feel free to fudge it and pick a book from a series).
Starchaser from R.M. Gray is the second book in the Nightweaver series. I’m sure this is a trilogy (I thought it would be a duology), but so far I’m really enjoying this series!

8. “Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow”: A character you would love to be snowed in with.
Blake from The Night Prince by. Lauren Palphreyman. 😍

9. “Last Christmas”: A book that seriously let you down.
I DNF’ed The Nightshade God by. Hannah Whitten. I just didn’t remember anything from book one and I was just lost and didn’t care about the story.

10. “White Christmas”: An upcoming release you’re dreaming about.
Shadow Reaper by. Lynette Noni.

Now it’s your turn! Which books would you choose for these prompts?

And I’m not tagging anyone, feel free to do the tag if you like! ☺️

The All Hallows Book Tag | 2025

🎃Happy Halloween readers!🎃

Let’s do book tag but this time for Spooky season! The All Hallows Book Tag was created by QuirinusReads (Twitter/Instagram).

So some choices has changed this year in comparison to last year’s post! This time I chose hot chocolate, haunted house and dark academia but some of these are hard because I love werewolves more this year and I read more dark academia this year but I love paranormal too. 😅 It’s hard to choose!

Here are the questions:

What are your favourite spooky season genres?

Horror, Thrillers, Mystery, and now I’m also adding Dark Romance and Dark Fantasy to the list!

Which titles do you recommend for Halloween reading?

What are your most anticipated reads this month?

Since October is basically over – I’m posting my November anticipated reads:

I was so lucky to actually read a lot of my most anticipated November reads through Netgalley:

  • Fallen City by. Adrienne Young
  • Starchaser by. R.M. Gray
  • The House Saphir by. Marissa Meyer
  • Coldwire by. Chloe Gong

Have you had a paranormal experience or spooky coincidence?

I’d say yes, a few!

What are your spooky season film and TV favourites?

It’s cringey as hell but I love it, it’s so nostalgic and cracks me up! My friend and I send each other Teen Witch clips just to remind each other it’s Teen Witch season LOL.

This time around I watched the new season of Wednesday on Netflix and that definitely brings in the Halloween vibes!

How do you celebrate Halloween?

This year I am staying home to pass out the candy while my kids will go with their dad around the block since he missed 2 Halloweens when he was living in Okinawa the past few years.

Here is the clean copy of This or That:

Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag – 2025

It’s that time again! I already freaked out seeing this being posted on other blogs. How can it be mid-year?! Are we ready for the last half of the year? I don’t think I am.

BEST BOOK YOU’VE READ SO FAR IN 2025

There’s been so many good books this year! Here are some of my highest rated books this year 4.5-5 stars.

  • Bat Eater and Other Names for Cora Zeng by. Kylie Lee Baker
  • Sunrise on the Reaping by. Suzanne Collins
  • The Knight and the Moth by. Rachel Gillig
  • Nightshade by. Autumn Woods
  • Den of Liars by. Jessica S. Olson
  • A Desert of Bleeding Sand by. Lucia Damisa
  • Oathbound by. Tracy Deonn
  • Rebel Witch by. Kristen Ciccarelli
  • Holy Terrors by. Margaret Owen
  • The Scorpion and the Night Blossom by. Amélie Wen Zhao

BEST SEQUEL YOU’VE READ SO FAR IN 2025

There were a few sequels I loved but I’m going to pick Oathbound by. Tracy Deonn. I can’t believe I thought this was the last book lol. It’s not!

NEW RELEASE YOU HAVEN’T READ YET, BUT WANT TO

A few new releases I’m waiting to get a library copy of:

  • Great Big Beautiful Life by. Emily Henry
  • Never Thought I’d End Up Here by. Ann Liang
  • Atmosphere by. Taylor Jenkins Reid

MOST ANTICIPATED RELEASE FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR

  • Brimstone by. Callie Hart
  • Thief of Night by. Holly Black
  • Fallen City by. Adrienne Young

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT

On Wings of Blood by. Briar Boleyn – I gave this book a chance because it was all over booktok and it was messy and entertaining but it didn’t blow me away. It doesn’t help that I don’t like the MMC.

BIGGEST SURPRISE

I thought I would be dragon-ed out with all the dragon books I have been reading, but I actually really loved A Fate Forged in Fire by. Hazel McBride and will be getting a hardcopy of it for my shelf so I can re-read it!

FAVORITE NEW AUTHOR (debut or new to you)

I kind of love all the mauve shades of these book covers, but these new to me authors really caught my interest!

  • Of Flame and Fury by. Mikayla Bridge
  • Thorn Season by. Kiera Azar
  • Embrace the Serpent by. Sunya Mara
  • Nightshade by. Autumn Woods

NEWEST FICTIONAL CRUSH

Alex Corbeau-Green from Nightshade by. Autumn Woods – hot, rich, tattooed, smart, plays rugby, kind of the guardian of his 6 younger sisters and his mom who is dealing with some mental issues.

NEWEST FAVORITE CHARACTER

Bartholomew the gargoyle in The Knight and the Moth by. Rachel Gillig – because he is so funny and silly.

Alissa from Thorn Season by. Kiera Azar because she’s a young lady at court and she’s not fragile. She’s savvy, cunning and strong!

Saphira from Embrace the Serpent by. Sunya Mara – I just thought her talent with gems and being a jewelsmith was cool! She’s also a strong character.

BOOK THAT MADE YOU CRY

This two books made me emotional and made me shed a tear or two. Sunrise on the Reaping by. Suzanne Collins and Holy Terrors by. Margaret Owen.

BOOK THAT MADE YOU HAPPY

The Exception to the Rule by. Christina Lauren – I just realized looking through all the books I’ve read this year, not a lot of them make me feel “happy” LOL, because they are dark. But this one was short and sweet.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BOOK YOU’VE BOUGHT SO FAR THIS YEAR (or received)

The Fairyloot version of The Floating World by. Axie Oh is the prettiest book on my shelf. I had debated subscribing to the YA Fairylook Subscription because it’s so expensive that I passed it up on the first email I got. Then two months later I got another email saying a spot opened up again and I said to hell with it, I’m going to join just so I can get first dibs on any exclusives they have during the year.

WHAT BOOKS DO YOU NEED TO READ BY THE END OF THE YEAR?

I’m just choosing three arcs I have on Netgalley that I need to read in the second half of this year.

  • The Scammer by. Tiffany D. Jackson
  • And the River Drags Her Down by. Jihyun Yun
  • Wild Reverence by. Rebecca Ross

FAVORITE BOOK TO MOVIE ADAPTATION YOU’VE SEEN THIS YEAR

I haven’t seen any book to movie adaptations this year. But I did see that We Were Liars is on Prime Video and I read this a long time ago, before I made a blog and I know there is a significant plot twist but I don’t remember much of the book. According to Goodreads I gave it 3 stars but no written review. So I’m watching this series because I actually have the arc for the sequel and it would be nice to remember what happens.

We Were Liars by. E. Lockhart

But I am also looking forward to season three of The Summer I Turned Pretty on Amazon Prime.

I’ve been reading so many books this year already that I’ve already surpassed my Goodreads reading goal of 100 books. I’m at 125.

How has your 2025 been so far?

The End of the Year Book Tag – 2024 Edition

I didn’t do one of these last year even though I thought I did. 🤔. It’s a fun post and I get to look back on the year, so let’s take a look!

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

Not in Love by. Ali Hazelwood – I don’t know what it was but the first chapter was okay and I put it aside to read some arcs and never picked this one back up.

Worst in Show by. Anna E. Collins – My borrowing time came to an end on this one but I do want to read it!

Haunted Ever After by. Jen DeLuca – same reason, borrowing time came to an end but I will pick this one off.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

No I don’t. I feel like Christmas comes upon us in a rush and Christmas books sometimes publish in October. This one was an arc published in mid-October and I was in a spooky season mood. It didn’t help me transition at all lol but it was such a cute holiday story!

Is there a new release that you’re still waiting for?

A Cruel Thirst by. Angela Montoya – this one comes out on 12/17 but I’m all about borrowing books these days so we’ll see when I get a chance to read it.

What are three books you want to read before the year ends?

Is there a book that you think could still shock you and become your favourite of the year?

The Grandest Game by. Jennifer Lynn Barnes – this was one of my most anticipated reads for 2024 and I’m waiting for it to be on Libby (online library). I might have to buy it lol.

Have you already started to make reading plans for 2025?

The All Hallows Book Tag

Let’s do another book tag but this time for Spooky season! I saw this book tag on Book Are 42 and thought it was perfect for Halloween. The All Hallows Book Tag was created by QuirinusReads (Twitter/Instagram).

For Dark academia vs. Paranormal, I LOVE both…but for Halloween I’d go for Paranormal. Also for Haunted House vs. Enchanted Forest…for me personally I’d rather go to an Enchanted Forest lol…but I’d rather read about a Haunted House for Halloween. A clean version of this image is at the end of this post.

Here are the questions:

What are your favourite spooky season genres?

Horror, Thrillers, Mystery, and Romance! Witchy, paranormal – all of it! I love it all but for spooky season I would like some thrills and chills in my books. But also I want some cozy fall romances.

Which titles do you recommend for Halloween reading?

What are your most anticipated reads this month?

I already posted my anticipated reads for October and honestly, not a lot of them were spooky themed so this is my anticipated reads for NOVEMBER because the arcs I have been reading have been dark, witchy, and filled with the paranormal. Here are some of the arcs I’m working on for November releases!

Have you had a paranormal experience or spooky coincidence?

Yes I have! Especially when I was younger in my teens and all we did on this island was ghost hunting for fun. But none of my experiences happened during those ghost hunting experiences. All I can say to keep this short is one experience happened on Halloween night, I was in middle school, and we were at my friend’s house – a friend whose older sisters had a Ouija board they used DAILY. I mean guys it was the 90’s, Ouija boards were popular 😩. My friends and I were contemplating using the board and we were sitting outside, she had this big tree and a picnic table/bench under it and we were all sitting there before going trick or treating. No one was sitting to the left of me and yet I felt someone nudge my upper arm on the left side. And I said, “who did that?”. All my girlfriends looked at me confused and we looked around and screamed when all that was next to me on the table was the Ouija board. Needless to say we did NOT use that board that night or ever.

What are your spooky season film and TV favourites?

The Nightmare Before Christmas because it’s dark, but cute (Zero), and funny and I love the songs.

It’s cringey as hell but I love it, it’s so nostalgic and cracks me up! My friend and I send each other Teen Witch clips just to remind each other it’s Teen Witch season LOL. I should try and watch Practical Magic if I can find it one streaming, because I love that one too.

** I would SO watch horror if my kids weren’t always around me! But I can’t do it because they would both be sleeping with me if they watched it with me. I already have a hard time with my daughter being so attached to me. lol **

How do you celebrate Halloween?

I put a bowl of candy outside on my front step and then my kids and I go trick or treating – we live in a suburban neighborhood with so many trick or treaters, I am TIRED by the time we get back home and we only go around one block! My son says he doesn’t want to trick or treat this year ☹️ he’s 12! SIGH…and so it begins, he thinks he’s too old for it! We’ll see, he might change his mind last minute. But my daughter LOVES it so I go with her. Then when we come home, we go through the candy, put some back into the candy bowl and I’ll sit out there until I’m tired or gotta get the kids in bed because it’s a school day the next day. This year my daughter has no school the next day – YAY!! But my son does – BOO!! lol…

The TBR Book Tag!

Hi everyone! I haven’t done a book tag in so long but I saw this one on Leslie’s blog Books Are the New Black and I thought okay, I think it’s time for me to really take a look at my TBR list. Scary thought huh?! lol…

Here are the questions:

How do you keep track of your TBR pile?

Um…Goodreads? LOL…I will confess, I add titles to Goodreads but never check on it ever. I’d also say I have a mental list of books I want to read and when I see it come up somewhere I remember it’s on my list. Also, because I do a new release post on my blog, I keep a written log of when books are being released, so that’s part of my TBR list also.

Is your TBR mostly print or e-book?

It’s mostly e-books because it’s easier for me to read e-books at night. But I have a very small TBR list of print books that I want to get for my bookshelf and these are usually the pretty books with sprayed edges or a whole complete series I’ve been wanting to get.

How do you determine which book from your TBR to read next?

Good question. I’m a mood reader so that is what determines any book I read but if I get a backlist book from the library, I try to read that first because I have a time limit. Unfortunately, there are a lot of books on my physical book shelf that I own, that I haven’t read and are on my TBR list. 😅

A book that’s been on your TBR the longest

A Darker Shade of Magic by. V.E. Schwab has been on my Goodreads list for the longest time and I even have a physical copy of it on my book shelf. 😆 I don’t know why I haven’t read it yet!

A book that you recently added to your TBR

The Jasad Crown by. Sara Hashem. It has a cover! I’m excited to read this sequel to The Jasad Heir.

A book on your TBR you strictly bought because of the beautiful cover

I saw it at Barnes and Noble and on the whim just bought it because of the cover. It’s gorgeous!

A book on your TBR you never actually plan on reading

I added Ninth House by. Leigh Bardugo because of the hype I think but I don’t think I will ever read it.

An unpublished book on your TBR that you’re excited for

The Scorpion and the Night Blossom by. Amélie Wen Zhao looks amazing. I’m tempted to buy the hardcover but I just got approved for the arc so I’m excited to read this one!

A book on your TBR that basically everyone has read except you

A Sky Beyond the Storm by. Sabaa Tahir is the book I need to read to finish the series but the more time goes on I keep putting it off because now I feel like I need to start from the beginning to remember all the details from the previous books. I really should just do it.

A book on your TBR that everyone recommends

I see Legends & Lattes by. Travis Baldree on different blogs a lot! I still have to read it.

A book on your TBR that you’re just dying to read

Onyx Storm by. Rebecca Yarros and I hope it’s better than book two which I didn’t love. I didn’t hate it but it was just okay. Just a few more months for this one!

The number of books on your Goodreads shelf

It says I have 627 which is WRONG, but I actually have to switch a bunch of them to “Read”. It just takes so long. 😅 Actually, after doing this post I’m very motivated to clean up that list so I think that’s what I’ll do right now.

Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag – 2024

I’ve been seeing this tag all around the blogosphere so I have to do mine too!

BEST BOOK YOU’VE READ SO FAR IN 2024

I feel like this year I have gravitated to more contemporary reads and less fantasy? I read a lot of fantasy but I don’t know there was anything that really wowed me yet this year. But these three books are my top three so far: The Women by. Kristin Hannah, Not Another Love Song by. Julie Soto, and Funny Story by. Emily Henry.

BEST SEQUEL YOU’VE READ SO FAR IN 2023

I thought Ruthless Vows by. Rebecca Ross was a great conclusion to the duology!

NEW RELEASE YOU HAVEN’T READ YET, BUT WANT TO

This one, Poison in Their Hearts by. Laura Sebastian, just came out and I want to read it. I hope I get to read it sometime this year.

MOST ANTICIPATED RELEASE FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR

  • The Grandest Game by. Jennifer Lynn Barnes
  • The Songbird and the Heart of Stone by. Carissa Broadbent
  • Heir by. Sabaa Tahir

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT

King of Sloth by. Ana Huang, one was my least favorite of the series and least favorite book of the year.

BIGGEST SURPRISE

The Last Bloodcarver by. Vanessa Le was such a surprise to me, actually it’s one of my top reads of 2024 also.

FAVORITE NEW AUTHOR (debut or new to you)

I really liked the world building in this one and that it’s an academy book. I’m excited to read book two.

NEWEST FICTIONAL CRUSH

I don’t think I’ve actually had a new fictional crush this year, which is so surprising! The one fictional guy though that had me in my feels a little is Miles from Funny Story by. Emily Henry. Usually I like the alpha guys buy Miles was the totally opposite of being an alpha and I loved him.

NEWEST FAVORITE CHARACTER

Nhika in The Last Bloodcarver because she’s a survivor.

Arthie and Jin from A Tempest of Tea because their friendship is everything.

Rune from Heartless Hunter because she’ll do anything to help the witches who are being hunted.

BOOK THAT MADE YOU CRY

I don’t think a book made me shed too much tears this year so far but I did tear up at the ending of the The Last Bloodcarver by. Vanessa Le.

BOOK THAT MADE YOU HAPPY

Dungeons and Drama by. Kristy Boyce made me feel happy!

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BOOK YOU’VE BOUGHT SO FAR THIS YEAR (or received)

I definitely broke my book banning to get this hardcover: Heaveneaker by. Sara Wolf

WHAT BOOKS DO YOU NEED TO READ BY THE END OF THE YEAR?

I have The Wren in the Holly Library by. K.A. Linde on my bookshelf so would love to read that by the end of this year. I have Heir by. Sabaa Tahir as an arc so I know I’ll be finishing that this year! And I can’t wait for The Songbird and the Heart of Stone by. Carissa Broadbent.

FAVORITE BOOK TO MOVIE ADAPTATION YOU’VE SEEN THIS YEAR

I haven’t seen any book to movie adapations this year – at least books that’s I’ve read but I did watch Dune 2! Haven’t read the book though but I’m a fan of the movies because they are so visually stunning.

Oh and I also watched The Idea of You and I know there is a book The Idea of You by. Robinne Lee but that’s also one I haven’t read.

It’s been a fairly slow reading year for me this year I think. But I’m totally okay with that because that just means my attention and energy had to be elsewhere. I’m 59/125 on my Goodreads reading challenge so I think I’m on a good pace!

How has your 2024 been so far?

Book Tag | Reading Firsts – 2024 Edition

I haven’t done a book tag other than the birthstone covers in awhile! I saw this one on Leslie’s blog Books Are the New Black and thought it was super short and easy to do. I’m all about easy book tags! It was originally created by girlxoxo.

First Book Read in 2024

Ruthless Vows by. Rebecca Ross was the first book I read even though it came out in December 2023 – there was just so much going on in that month I couldn’t get to it until January 2024 and I loved it! It is such a great duology!

first review of 2024

I don’t know what the first book of 2024 I read but this is the first book review I posted! It’s The Atlas of Us by. Kristin Dwyer. It was pretty good and I rated it 3 1/2 stars!

first debut read of 2024

I loved this debut called The Last Bloodcarver by. Vanessa Le, it was a 5 star read for me!

First “new to me” author of 2024

I’ve never read a book by this author, but this book If I Promise You Wings by. A.K. Small was really interesting! I’ll definitely read a book by this author again.

First Book of 2024 that Slayed Me

The Women by. Kristin Hannah is the first book that totally slayed me in 2024. 5 stars for sure!

First Book of 2024 that I Wish I Could Get Back the Time I Spent Reading it

I tried to read this one, The Book of Azrael by. Amber Nicole, because it’s so popular on Kindle Unlimited. I got 11% in and stopped because it wasn’t holding my attention. I’m not sure if I’ll go back to finish it but for now…it’s a DNF.

First Five Star Book of 2024

Yup, The Women by. Kristin Hannah, it slayed me and like I said, it was a 5 star. The first one of this year!

I tag ALL OF YOU!

Trick or Treat Round the Block Book Tag

It’s that time again, time for some Halloween themed posts and why not with book tags? This tag was originally created by The Bookish Porcupine but I saw it around the blogosphere – most recently on Dinipandareads. Check their blogs out!

Creepy house on the corner of the street:
Book with a creepy cover

The Haunting of Hill House is a book that I’ve been meaning to for years!

Lights out (party poopers):
A book you want to read when you want to escape

I like escaping into fantasy books and Throne of the Fallen takes you to Hell, a Vampire stronghold and Faerie!

The house that gives out the cheap candy:
Guilty pleasure book

I like a good strange small town, spooky story! I don’t know if that’s a guilty pleasure but sometimes I just liked to be weirdly spooked. I think Together We Rot fascinated me because stories about cults always have interested me!

The house with the best decorations on the block:
Best haunting/Halloween-themed cover

I haven’t read Delicious Monsters but I want to – but yikes look at that cover!

The house that gives out the best candy:
#1 Halloween recommendation

If you like a little history with a haunted house then you’d enjoy The Hacienda!

SPEED ROUND

Corn Maze or Haunted House?

I used like Haunted Houses but that was in my younger years! I’d go with a corn maze now.

Classic or Unique Costume?

I love both but I’ll go with Unique because my kids are always picking unique costumes. This year my daughter will be Sailor Moon and I’m Luna (the cat) lol.

Sexy or Scary Costume?

Scary because I can’t pull off a sexy one lol

Comedy or Horror Halloween Film?

I was forced to watch horror films all during my childhood because my older male cousins picked the movies! So now I go for comedy.

Chocolate or Sour Candy?

Definitely chocolate!

It’s a fun and easy tag to do so try it out. ☺️ Happy Halloween! 👻🎃

Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag – 2023

We are in July so let’s take a look back at the first half of the year!

BEST BOOK YOU’VE READ SO FAR IN 2023

I love these 2023 releases! Fourth Wing is a very hyped book right now but if you like dragons, you may enjoy this one also. Divine Rivals made me cry and The Sweetest Betrayal was the perfect conclusion to an underrated series.

BEST SEQUEL YOU’VE READ SO FAR IN 2023

This is a great sequel and brings all the gothic, creepy vibes from House of Sea and Salt, but on another level! I love the story telling.

NEW RELEASE YOU HAVEN’T READ YET, BUT WANT TO

I’m waiting for a library copy to be available but I hope to read it before the summer ends because it’s Emily Henry and should be read in the summer right?

MOST ANTICIPATED RELEASE FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR

There are a few more…

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT

This cover is gorgeous but this was a DNF for me. I kept trying to get into it but I just couldn’t.

BIGGEST SURPRISE

I read this as an arc but it will be coming out this month which is the later half of the year BUT…this surprised me because I thought it was going to be a DNF by chapter 2 and by the end I was shocked at the wild finish of this book. I can’t wait for book 2 but I do wish sometimes Chloe Gong books were easier to get into, don’t get me wrong, I love her books, but there can be a lot of info dumping. Once you get past that it’s usually a wild ride!

FAVORITE NEW AUTHOR (debut or new to you)

I just read this one and loved it!

NEWEST FICTIONAL CRUSH

I mean come on…Xaden.

NEWEST FAVORITE CHARACTER

Wren in Bonesmith because she’s a fighter and fights the dead..

Zilan from The Scarlet Alchemist because the love she has for her cousins and she can raise the dead.

Channi from Her Radiant Curse because the love she has for her sister.

BOOK THAT MADE YOU CRY

This one made me shed a tear or two – Rebecca Ross just knows how to pull on those heart strings.

BOOK THAT MADE YOU HAPPY

Even the covers make me happy because the colors are so bright but yes these definitely left me feeling happy inside.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BOOK YOU’VE BOUGHT SO FAR THIS YEAR (or received)

I’m surprised there hasn’t been as many book covers this year that has wowed me. But I think this one is pretty.

WHAT BOOKS DO YOU NEED TO READ BY THE END OF THE YEAR?

I bought the ebook for From the Grave so I can finish that at anytime but want to read it this year if possible and complete the series. Painted Devils I have as a borrowed hardcover so I would like to finish that before the month is through. The Bone Shard Emperor because I’d love to finish the series.

FAVORITE BOOK TO MOVIE ADAPTATION YOU’VE SEEN THIS YEAR

I actually never read the book but I thought the Amazon Prime series was so good! I hope I can read the book this year!

And that’s what I got half-way into 2023! I think it’s funny how I’m already requesting arcs for first half of 2024 on NetGalley – like wait….the holidays aren’t here yet. 😅 It’s kind of exciting and nerve wracking thinking 2024 is just around the corner! Anyway, how was your first half of 2024?
