It’s been a rough start of the week because my daughter got sick and I had to go get her tested for covid – the test itself was a whole day affair of waiting, and driving back and forth since I had to pick my son up for school, etc…but she’s negative for covid and strep throat – guess she has a cold or sinus infection. But I’m exhausted just trying to take care of her and everyday household things – so reading is not my priority this week. When I try to read, I fall asleep lol…so I’m going to listen to my body and sleep!

Hope your daughter feels better soon and that you have a more relaxing weekend at least! I can’t wait to hear what you think of Song of the Forever Rains. I picked it up and started reading the first few pages and it’s quite dark but I put it down cos I had to get a tour read done. Keen to pick it back up though! Happy reading 😊
She is much better – but Hawaii has a really high covid case count right now so I’ve been anxious at every littler fever or sniffle my kids have since they are the ones who can’t get the vaccine yet. I was reading it and put it down also to finish an arc haha. Hopefully I can finish this weekend.
